Science week

Last week we had so much fun with all our science experiments!

The first thing we got to do was make the volcanoes by covering baby food jars in playdough.

The volcano experiment was a complete hit! It was so much fun to watch the reaction on the children's faces as their volcanoes erupted.

We also made fog in a jar- the kids observed and then drew pictures of what they saw happen.

Here are some children taking time to read in between experiments.

I taught them a simplified version of the scientific method. I said they needed to-
First- Guess (predict what will happen.)
Second- Try (run the experiment)
Third- Learn

I really enjoyed our science days, and I'm looking forward to doing some more outside once things warm up this Spring. I hope you had a chance to try some experiments at home with your children!
