Homework Tips

Our first week of homework went smoothly. Thanks for your cooperation on this. Remember, homework is optional, you can opt out anytime if you'd like.

I got some questions on how I check their work on these packets. I don't. They aren't graded or anything like that. These homework packets provide an opportunity for you and your child to practice skills at home, read new books together and they also provide a chance for your child to work on responsibility.

I never check up to see if they did it or if they did it correctly. I will just just check to make sure all the pieces came back and there was no major damage to the packets. It will make it easier for me if you have your child put the pieces back into the little ziplock baggies. Please return the folder, book, and bag of pieces or the marker inside the large ziplock bag.
