We had so much the past two days. We learned letter Bb and talked about bubbles. Our craft was a bubble picture. I mixed a paint and bubble solution and let the kids blow bubbles. As the bubbles popped on the paper, it made unique patterns on their papers. It was fun. Here's some pictures for you to enjoy:
Don't worry, the kids all got their own straws, no germ sharing on this craft.
I was worried someone would suck the paint instead of blowing it, so I had them do it one at a time so I could sit next to them and watch. Only two kids sucked and I was able to stop them before the paint made it all the way up the straw.
All the kids did such a good job. As we blew bubbles, we practiced saying the sound letter Bb makes. Throughout the week, try asking your child about the letter Bb and see if they remember it's sound.
The big bubbles seemed to pop before they made it to the paper, it was the little and medium sized bubbles that made the best pictures.
We also go to blow some bubbles outside. (When the weather was good!)
Taking a turn with the bubble wand.
Having lots of fun!
Birthday boy having a great time.
Waiting for a turn with the bubbles.
B is for BUBBLES!
