Our Money Mess

For those of you who hadn't heard, the Preschool's bank, Barnes Bank, was forced to close in January. It was quite a shock, no one saw it coming. (Including the owners of the bank apparently- we have a granddaughter of one of the owners in our school, and we were told they lost millions.)

The bank closed right before February's tuition was auto-drafted, and they allowed Angie to still complete those transactions. We were able to move to a new bank with only minor headaches and thought all was going smoothly until today. Some of our parents are letting us know that the tuition for March has not been auto-drafted. It should have gone through on February 28th. Angie made several phone calls to the new bank (Zions Bank) to try and fix things, but eventually had to leave work early and spend a couple hours at the bank fixing the problem.

The problem seems to be a clerical error the bank made, but it's been fixed. We now have things worked out and we wanted to let you know that from now on you can expect things to go back to normal with tuition drafted between the 25th-30th each month for the following months tuition. (It depends on when the weekends fall as to exactly which day it will be.) We are very sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you.
